![]() My thoughts on the CD P6...
R4 Singling the 1 entry. Don't think the 2 gets loose, has folded every time she's faced pace pressure and figures the same here. If she burns up the 1, i think the 1A could pick up the pieces anyways. R5 Tough read with a lot of these training off site. I liked the 3's debut behind the next out stakes winner, didn't give up much ground in the lane. Might need longer to be most effective which is why i won't overemphasize this one. Looking for more info on the Assman runner from our resident 2YO in training experts. I'm only really comfortable dumping the 7 and 8. R6 If the turf course tends to speed like it did over the weekend, the #1 Trainee looks like she'll be tough, even though it's not her preferred surface. Also using the 8 Patricia, who likes the CD turf course and comes in off a very sharp effort at Keeneland. Taking a stand against the ML 2nd choice Keltish Lass, who was easily outfinished by Patricia at KEE and has struggled against this level of competition in previous turf starts. Backup tickets through the 2 & 4. R8 Really like the 5 in here, Precious Princess, but she's a confirmed hanger which scares me off singling. The GP race two back would be good enough to beat this group. The way the turf course is playing, the 1 is up against it, despite having the most raw talent of the group. R9 Waiting for scratches as the 13 & 14 figure prominently, if they draw in.
