Lets see how good Madeo is when he gets to try the dirt.I don't even think he liked the track at Hollywood Wednesday.Smith said he was tired on the backstretch, and he still put them away.Don't underestimate him.The road is littered with people (like Brad Free) that didn't even pick him top 3 on Wednesday. He Just had to take that damn Coast Guard. If you run top 2 or 3 in graded 3 year old races, then why go back into an allowance race? Human activity is not that hard to figure out.Horse was not doing that great,or they wouldn't have put him in an allowance race. All they see is a figure, and they drink that up.I don't know why they like horses who ran decently, and drop down off that. It's almost like the connections are trying to tell ya he ain't doing that well, and they are gunna see just how bad he is doing....I didn't notice Smith dropped the whip.Wait until they go into stakes, and Mike's concentration will get remarkably better.
