I'll tell ya, even 5 races in a row playing show bets is very tough. My best selection day ever was at Spa. It was Richter Scale's last race in the feature that did me in. I think I hit 4 exactas, 2 tris and a win before the featured 9th race. The one race I passed on (my chosen ex came in, chalk, that race too) because all my wins were chalk and I was winning peanuts. So on to the Forego and my tri bet finished 3 out of 4 but Richter Scale floundered so I lost on that race and I lost money on the day...geesh...I think that was when Shadow Caster won @ 50-1, Chavez up, the 3rd year in a row the longest shot on the board won the Forego.
