This would be a far cry from NYRA's mostly manual process.

So ticketmaster will handle sales for all days at Belmont Park? Or just for one day that being Belmont Stakes day?

What source did hear this from?

Since you guys seem to know what is going on with this, I'll ask is it hard to get tickts to Belmont on the day of the Belmont? I have always wanted to go up for it ive been there for BC couple of years ago but would like to go when the weahter is nicer. Any insights?

It came from my friend who writes the "Brooklynbackstretch" blog. She says she has spoken to NYRA and they confirmed it.

It's apparently only for Belmont day

Any more news on whether NYRA or Ticketmaster or some other outlet is handling the Belmont Stakes tickets?

Because they are, in general, an inept organization?

I just ask because the Lottery Application is usually up by now, and it's not. There were a couple of posts above from last year regarding the handling of ticket sales this year.
