But then again so was Hakeem his freshman year at Houston. But he had never played before. And there was some basic instinct and he moved his feet very well (soccer in Nigeria I think). I think its money down the tube with Jordan if he comes out this raw. He will totally lose confidence, even if he steps on a developmental league court at this time.

If Hibert at Georgetown is considered the gold standard (which I hope he is not), then Love would be a lottery pick. I really dont know what kind of "Center" year this is. What is clear to me is that you dont find guys that large with that kind of basketball skill level. He is smart in so many ways on the court that a lot of what he does lack, jumping, speed, he makes up for. I can only speak my opinion for one pro team. Imo the Spurs would take him in a heartbeat. As I stated earlier, he is better than any "Center" they have now. The only question would be if he could handle the very quick switching defense one particular pro team requires. I also think he is better than Splitter who will be with the Spurs most likely next year. Beasely is obviously the first pick in the draft unless some team has found a really good foreign player.
