Well, Saturday just may be your "lucky" day.. She goes for her 16th! at SunRay Park in the 9th race. Go Pepper!!!

She's only worked just one time since her last race, so she may be vulnerable Course she did the same before her 15th win as well.

Looks like she made it. Won the 9th at Sunray, rallying on the rail after running three wide much of the race...according to the charts.

She did look very good winning the race, to bad the second place finisher broke down after the wire.

Personally, I've scoured many of the Roswell tourist alien "museums" and had a good time.

I've also skirted the White Sands area, and have a picture of myself in front of a remote sign saying "no photography beyond this point," with the requisite list of possible federal penalties. I enjoyed that day, too.

Also saw where Billy the Kid had his final shootout, according to legend.

And have had a good time during live racing at Sunland, and in the off-season OTB at Ruidoso Downs.

I'm getting some pleasure following this 16 race streak, albeit obscure and of obviously debatable thoroughbred racing significance.

Pretty much I follow horses to enjoy the sport, or to make money.

I'll be happy to just lightly enjoy the Pepper's Pride story.
