Young teams will occassionally go on a good run, especially when playing in a league with no good teams. Has nothing to do with the character of the players on the team, just with how they were playing. When it came down to it though they got beat up on by the Red Sox with Manny Ramirez who has always been considered a clubhouse cancer yet has never actually adversely impacted his team.

I think the whole Red Sox clubhouse loves Manny. The media plays that up because he is a dick to them.

How can't you love someone with the most hilarious hair in baseball, and is probably the biggest smart ass with a bat, ever.....

Funny how the clubhouse is happy when winning and a mess when they are not. The key is that the happiness comes from the winning, not vice versa
