Lion Heart?
He only won two races his 3yo season and the second place finisher in each of those races was My Snookie's Boy.
To each his own I suppose, but putting him in over Silver Charm sure seems like a stretch to me.

It's more than a stretch. That one was more a heart and belief pick than based on anything factual.

How about Dance Smartly, she would be the only one undefeated as a 3 yr old on the list.

I like that inclusion, even if she wasn't necessarily amongst the FASTEST 25. In terms of accomplishments, a Cdn TC, BC Distaff, and 4 other stakes is pretty impressive.

This is very tricky because we must weigh TC races heavily, but after that how much weight. Obviously the BC... beating older horses... and then are we counting sprinters. So I stuck with the longer horses. And then the tough part about one or two great races and no more but good progeny, it all gets in the way. The order at the top I like, but after that move em around.
