Monte Carlo is a mid priced hotel. Not the worst and not the best. I've never stayed at any of the up scale places like the Bellagio or Venetian or Mandalay Bay, but I can't say that I care too much. I usually don't spend a whole lot of time in my room anyway. For the money, if you like space, stay at the Rio. They have spaciouis mini-suites. Drawback to that though is that it's across the freeway from the strip.

Best I've been in is Wynn.... rooms and especially the beds are extremely good (I travel alot and almost never sleep well the 1st night away from home... except for Wynn). I normally stay there or on the south end of the strip (normally NY-NY). Rooms there are good and the location's great.
