Thanks bigs, steve, and everyone -- I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning, not being a grizzled contest veteran or anything...I'm just making sure I'm having fun with it.

Will report back later tonight!

Don't be a bitch, you are just as good as all the others there. You know what you are doing. Bring your IPOD or something so you don't have to listen to the shenigans around you, that for me, causes my distractions because I like to people watch, especially when they are acting like buffoons....

Came out of day 1 with $305.00, which was good for getting my name on page 7 out of 21...so roughly in the 40th % for the first day. The leader has just around $1,000 after day one.

And for a good laugh, here's who I went with today in my 11 all-optional races (reminder to self for tomorrow: NO TAMPA)

Tampa Race 2: Two Socks Run - 8th @ 14/1

Gulfstream Race 1: Jack's Eleven - WON @ 5/1 ($12.00 & $6.20)

Fairgrounds 1: El's City Boy - Last @ 8/1

Aqueduct 4: Dove Nest - Last @ 5/1

Aqueduct 5: Token Bay - A heartbreaking and stupid (Worst ride of the day...go five-wide and the horse is four lengths the best...) 2ND @ 6/1 ($6.30)

Fairgrounds 3: Fine Star - 4th @ 8/1

Aqueduct 6: The Scouser - 4th @ 29/1

Fairgrounds 4: Alphadoodle - 3rd @ 5/2

Fairgrounds 5: Ready In The Morn - 2nd @ 10/1 ($6.00)

Fairgrounds 7: Chief Mena - 4th @ 4/1

Gulfstream 8: Orient's Tune - 4th @ 15/1
