for those of you who watch races at tbd religiously is faine that horrifying or does he just ride all longshots or both? one thing i have noticed in the time ive seen him ride he blows everything right to the front and saves nothing

CPF watch: Has a mount in the 3rd on Saturday, Ide Be 0 for Ten...the horse has a similar record as the rider - 1 for 85 ...Can't help it - got to admire the guy's "Never Quit" attitude ![]() |

Faine is pretty bad.
Faine last 12 months: Tot Starts 404 Ave odds per starter 39-1 Wins 8 Ave Odds per winner 12-1 Routes Starts 93 Wins 0 132 of his rides were for one trainer, Peter Wasiluk who has won about 9-10%of his 287 total starts with average Odds/Winner of 8-1. Many of the Wasiluk/Faine starters are owned or co-owned by the trainer. Wasiluk with "Faine off" at both Tampa and Delaware has been a good thing for a few years now. Especially at Tampa. The numbers are even better for non-Wasiluk owned horses. Even better yet for those going long. I also believe Faine has a hard time tacking less than 122, so that doesn't help. 8 for 404 is pretty significant. He's pretty bad, but keep an eye on the trainer's runners with a different rider. |
