The first race of the Derby Trail Contest is official and although 17 DTers picked the winner (Cowboy Cal), the board leaders are the five members (2 Dollar Bill, DerbyCat, MaTH716, megahertz and viscount26) that picked the place horse, Why Tonto. Picking the horse that pays the most is more important than picking the winner in this contest. For those of you that didn't get any "points", don't worry - this is a LONG contest and you can come back quicker than you think. The key here is sticking with it and posting your picks for every race that is listed. Nice cappin' by the top five and good luck to everyone the rest of the way!
