Hmmm...maybe you should stop seeking out those synthetic tracks.

I did ok this year and for the first time i kept a log of all my bets and it is really interesting to look back on it. 2 b honest it basically told me what i already thought that i seem to do better on T races esp msw and younger horses using my 2nd time on T angle with ahorse that didnt do that bad 1st time and do horrible with claiming sprints. I also see that my bets on the big races wasnt really that great but then again they all pay the same right?? I ended the year with an roi of 1.40 which i dont think is too bad. it seemed to me i was best when i liked a horse that had good odds bet it to win and put it in the 2 hole under some others and then in the 3 hole in the tri under the same horses. Pk 3s and 4s i havent played b/c it would wind up costing me too much but i have looked at the races and made out tickets just too play along but no way am i gonna put $190-250 into something that your wrong once you lose. Best thing i learned this year is that you CANNOT BET EVERY RACE!!!!

Also wanted to add how much i truly enjoy reading what everyone on here has to say, you guys provide so much insight and some humor as well. Thanks to all of you.

why would you say that? for the second year in a row my ROI is roughly 10% better on synthetic, thats why I played synthetics 75% of the time this year.
I need to improve many things for sure, but abandoning synthetics doesn't appear to be one of them.

I had a much better year than any year I've ever had before. I did a better job of keeping track of where I was betting and where I was winning.

I really learned to keep my focus exclusively to Chicago/Kentucky/Fairgrounds, because I get cleaned out everywhere else.

Still learning to structure multiple tickets, but definitely seeing some rewards from learning how. I hit several decent to good pick-4s, but still lost out on some based solely on ticket structure and my inability to cover the ones I liked on my bankroll with a 'caveman' ticket.

On to next year, keeping even better track of my bets and nailing down where I'm really capable of making money and where I'm throwing it away.

It was just a joke, lighten up once in a while.
