This is quite a moral majority here.

The sad thing that is being missed here is the fact that they are looked up to by many young teenage girls and boys. In this day and age where young kids think that having a baby is like getting a new puppy, this development makes me very nervous.

This kid will have all the money in the world.

People always talk about responsibility well.....they have millions of dollars...they can afford a kid easily. I don't think it's a big deal. Now if Jamie were some lowly McDonald's worker then maybe that would be sad...

The only difference between a girl that gets knocked up at 16 and a 30 year old guy making fun of her for it, is that she was actually getting some before she turned 21!! she's made her bed and now she has to sleep in it, no reason to make fun of her to make yourself feel better.

On a second note, Lynn Spears was scheduled to have a parenting book come out sometime in 2008, according to the publisher yesterday, the book has been put on hold LOL

i just think it's a shame that so many are so irresponsible as to bring a child into the world when they aren't ready to raise one. if you want to screw up your own life, hey-go for it. but to bring an innocent into a rotten situation is the ultimate in selfishness imo. and money doesn't mean a damn thing. money doesn't raise a child, love it, or teach it right from wrong.

Bravo! I couldn't agree more. And that is the problem---no one THINKS. Just do what feels good at the time without a thought to consequences, which ends up involving the life of another human, who usually ends up brought up with the same uh, 'values.'

well, allow me to step in for a second.
i had a child when i was 17 and all these years i have put up with the stares and whispers behind my back.
you know what, shite happens. it happens to everyone in some way, shape, or form.
but people should not always be defined by the situations they put themselves in, but rather in the way they handle those situations.
unfortunate, well, that depends on your perspective i guess.
but i do get a kick out of all the degenerates here passing judgement, lol.

Must be nice to be you. Three posts....one is this laugher and another condemned a man with a substance abuse problem who died.

You must be pretty upset that Dubya only has a year left in office. What are you gonna do then.....blow up some Planned Parenthood offices?
