They lost 48-7. LSU had 600 total yards to 150 for Va Tech. LSU put it on cruise control. The regular season has to count for something.
The regular season does count. VTech lost to the #2 ranked team twice and LSU lost to 2 unranked teams and one of those losses being at home. In this season, the regular season is a mess for almost every team. I think that LSU is either best or 2nd best team in the country, but it is not fair or logical that they leap VTech.
