It takes no more than a couple minutes to bleed to death from a wide open severed artery because of the pressure involved.

Very very sad as apparently it involves a burgulary in his home which happened a SECOND time in 8 days. By all accounts in Taylor had made great progress with his brushes with violence.

Having a child had seemed to change his personality and his priorities.

Prayers are in order here as this one has more to play out here I pray he has not suffered the assumed the "anoxic encephalopathy" or large stroke from nerves of his brain dying from a lack of oxygen due to low blood pressure from bleeding too much too quickly.

I wonder if there using hypothermia here to minimize the injury to his brian like the Bills kid. Hopefully they are willing to give this a try as being in a coma post surgery doesn't sound good
I thought the cold was only to reduce the swelling in the Bill's players case?
So it was really just to slow everything down?
Dont see how it would work in this situation.
Still is tough. These guys are targets with the money.
It seems like 4 or 5 NBA players have had this same thing
happen but have nto been shot.
