They also have losses to a 5 loss team and a 4 loss team at home. They will be playing Tennessee anyway it looks. This year's LSU team is one of the most overrated teams in college football history. They are fortunate they don't have 3 or 4 losses. I would put Oklahoma in the title game ahead of them if Oklahoma beats Kansas or Missouri next week considering Oklahoma's loss to Texas Tech was with Sam Bradford sitting on the bench. LSU is good and beat some good teams, but they were very fortunate to beat both Auburn and Florida. To me losing at home to a 4 loss Arkansas team disqualifies them regardless. Texas Tech is as good as Arkansas and Oklahoma played without their quarterback on the road that game. I would honestly put USC ahead of LSU at this point as well. I think they're better as well. And since they're not playing each other, I would also rank Georgia higher than LSU.

It's all a goat rope anyway. This is why you need a 16 team playoff, or at the very least an 8 team playoff so they can all play each other...because there are no definitive number 1 or 2 teams this year anyway and most years there aren't. What I would love to see is just what you're saying and actually have West Virginia lose, and have the Kansas/Missouri winner lose to Oklahoma and then we can all decide which TWO loss team belongs in the chamionship game to play a not really strong Ohip State team!! you'd have all of them scrapping...
