I guess I'm in the minority here but I can't wait for Favre to retire so I don't have to hear everyone gushing about him all the time.

Heh

Has 25 TD passes at Chicago's Soldier Field, owning sole possession of fourth on that stadium's all-time list, behind three Bears quarterbacks: Erik Kramer (38), McMahon (37) and Jim Harbaugh (28)

Has 52 career TD passes against the Bears, the third most all-time by a QB against an opponent

Owns NFL record (since 1970) for most consecutive games with a TD pass vs. a single opponent by throwing for a score in 26 straight games against the Bears (1992-2004)

I am sure you are! The announcers and the press do gush over him and it is at times annoying, especially Madden; however he is what the football is all about. He is truely one of the only players out there for the love of the game and has a great time doing it. He is geniune in his reactions and has the desire to go out there each week and try and find a way to win. He is not a good football player, he is one of the greatest ever. One losing season in his entire career. What is not to like about him? Oh that's right you are a bear fan who has yet to find one quarterback in the entire career of Mr. Farve. I feel bad for you and I will mourn the day when he is no longer our quarterback, because I can't really remember watching a game without Brett as the QB of the GB packers.

You're either too young or you have mentally blocked out the horror that was the Lynn Dickey, David Whitehurst, Don Majkowski (to name a few off the top of my head) years.
