Weird. He did sell at Keeneland last month. For $180,000. Guess they got out quick with at any loss.

Most likely Mike Ryan signed the ticket at Keeneland last month representing the owner of the horse who may not have wanted the horse to be RNA. I saw him yesterday at the sale. He was typical Dynaformer though not really straight through the shoulder as they tend to be. I believe he had a chip removed from a hind ankle. Pretty nice looking horse though the first dam has only had one horse make it to the races out of 6 foals of racing age.

Oh dear, did they have soundness issues?

I actually had been looking at the shoulder in the pic trying to decide if I liked it that much so that's an interesting take. You saw him in person so I'm sure you're right. It's probably how he's standing or I'm hallucinating. When a chip's removed from the hind ankle how does that affect him later? I mean I know some things are easier to deal with than others in terms of recovery and future recurrence.

I should have said wasn't as straight as they tend to be but I thought it was acceptable. The chips removed depend on where they were, how big and when they were taken out. I did not vet the horse but someone else I know did and they told me about the surgery and their vet thought it wasn't going to be a problem. However they weren't willing to go that high for him.
