John Henry Special (Wed. night-HRTV)

Thanks so much for the heads up. John Henry was one of my few racehorse heroes. I love watching the old footage of him. I went to school in So. Cal and was so disappointed that he wasn't able to make the '83 Big 'Cap. Fortunately I had the pleasure and honor of seeing him run person in the Golden Gate Handicap in 1984. I will never forget it. I remember they schooled him in the Golden Gate paddock the day before the race. On his was back to the stables, he would stop and pose while fans took pictures. I have never seen a horse do that before. He knew exactly what was going on. I still have the John Henry t-shirt the GGF gave away. I will be watching the HRTV special.
