I only......
Have seen footage of John Henry, I was young when he was in his prime. What I have seen, and from all that I have read and heard he was incredible! A legend in the history of racing, and for that matter in the history of sports. He will be missed.

Haskins wrote "Against All Odds" should be on John's statue. He had no Northern Dancer, Raise A native, Native Dancer or Bold Ruler. He had no Nearco or Nasrullah either. An inspiration for all fans of the game from bettors to breeders.

Very sad to see that the great champion has passed on, but he went out fighting as he did his whole life. Great to listen to the race call from the 1ST Million with Phil Georgeff. It's a cliché now but that was truly the things that legends are made of.
