This is why it was started. maybe Purim is the only winner of one of these races that wouldnt make it without the auto berth.
So now he can be in, go off 30-1 and finish 8th. What a great concept until a horse like this knocks out a more deserving horse who was unfortunte not to win a "win and your in" race. The obvious horses are going anyway, the bombs will still be bombs.
