Covering the final furlong (of a 9f race) in 11.68 seconds is fairly impressive.

These final fractions in turf races, especially in NY, have to be taken with a grain of salt. No knock on NoBiz, he was terrific, perfect trip or not, but the come home times feel suspect.

Was it me or did it look like he was going to find trouble the whole race but somehow seemed to avoid it?

I guess, but it always seems like that when you're inside in turf races. Luckily for him the field spread a bit into the stretch. Not that it would have mattered.

All the connections got too concerned with the lack of speed on paper. Except Tagg who never wants the lead.
