If they send Ramonti there where does it leave Caradak... the BC?

They have probably forgotten about Caradak.

He wouldn't be good enough for the BC, anyway.

as good as Ramonti has been, I cant see him being quick enough for the Mile so Cadarak wouldnt cut much ice, but then again I dont even know if Ramonti is BC nominated..they might have to rely on DCat for some BC silverware.

Remember the good old days when Godolphin had the likes of Fantastic Light and Sakhee to go to war with?

Back in the days when they knew how to train a smaller number of horses and Crisford kept his nose out, you mean

I know that's what you were hinting at, Brock

well to be honest, they still have a horse in Discreet Cat who could turn out better than both. I think they've done a tremendous job with him as they were very good not to rush him into the Derby Trail and he showed what he could do last year with some magnificent races. He looks like quite a fragile horse and not many other organisations would have given him the time required to fulfill his potential and he would have retired / been injured prematurely. Sure things havent gone spot on this year, but there is certainly plenty of racing left for him and I hope he improves on last years figures and shows what a superstar he is.

Ill try not to comment on the other stuff as its been discussed quite a bit here already..

I'm pretty sure Discreet Cat will run in the BC sprint.

If i'm honest, i don't think he has a chance of winning any BC race. I don't think he will ever overcome that "problem", which he had in Dubai. It seems to have taken him much longer than they first thought. The BC os only just over one month away, it will be pushing it to get him in top shape for then.

You are far to civil, Brock....... are you sure you're Irish? Are you back from Oz now, fella? If so, get on the bumper horse that John Thomas rides today at Listowel.

I think they really should shoot for the moon with him and run him in the Classic, but we'll sure know more next week and how he handles 6f (which I assume the Vosbourgh is?). The Sheikh already has enough indirect interests in their that I doubt he would put one of his own in to disrupte things. Plus, Godolphin were in absolutely shocking form around Dubai time and couldnt buy a win (well some havent improved), but they have looked in good form in the US this summer so Im certainly hoping for the best.

Im still in Oz at the mo. Im hoping to finally get racing here by going to Eagle Farm on Saturday, and I can assure you that Im very Irish (or at least, I can do a very good Irish accent!)
