It's a tough situation, but one in which so many peoples lives were destroyed. Of course the looting and stuff was completely wrong. There is no explanation other than people suck. But people did and still suffer there. It's just not an easy fix and I certainly don't have the answers, but I really don't see the animosity towards people that lost their homes, lives and family members. Why so sensitive towards something like this?
Hoss, face it man we aren't going to come to complete agreement on this.
Sensitive. Could be many things, but I've been fired up about this since it happened. Almost got booted out of a family Labor Day picnic two years ago when this happened. The arrogance of the mayor and the absolute stupidity of the Governor for starters. The looting, rape, rioting, etc. don't sit well with me either. Not to mention the stupidity of many of the residents who could've gotten out an didn't. I'm sure there were many hardworking residents who suffered catostrophic losses and I do feel for them. Of course I'm sure many people think I'm just being racist. That's not the case. I'd feel the same way if it was a city of whites, greens, yellows, etc.
