One of the TD's was about a 35 yard run, it was a screen. I actually like the guy though. He showed some smarts and patience even if it was against the last string. It will give him a chance to play against some first team defenses in upcoming preseason games.

He made one excellent scramble and a nifty little toss to well covered receiver and he hit him perfectly on the side of the end zone.

I think Quinn is going to be good. But I really hope he gets to sit most of this year as I dont see the Browns offense capable. A QB can only do so much on a less than stellar offense. At least he is playing, and he is not on the RAIDERS like the LSU QB. That would not be fun. That was one of the most pitiful offensive units in football in the last 5 years. And he does not have to be near Al Davis.

It was the most pitiful offensive line in professional football history.

As far as a unit...they had excellent wide recievers (one was the subject of double coverage on every passing down...and was playing with injuries) the other rode the bench the entire season for reasons related to insubordination.

Their running backs are adequate, their quarterback play was only so far below average because of the fact the offensive life couldn't block anyone.

The 2006 Raiders offense is the ultimate example of how bad a unit with talent at the skill positions can look when no one up front can block.

I made my brother some bucks last year when the Rams came into Oakland after it was very clear how bad they were. They were giving points to the Rams who had a good running attack and the Raiders defense was also not good against the run. I knew the Rams would cram the ball down their throats and then the Raiders offense would do what? with very little time with the ball.
One of the most outrageous lines I have ever seen. I looked for injuries on the Rams I figured something had to be wrong. I think the final was like 20-7 Rams. I was totally stunned by that line. It was absurd.

Cant bet here or I would have. And I rarely even present my brother with picks, but I had to call him on this one, not the other way around.

Sorry. Back to Quinn. I think he will be fine.

Seriously. With Al Davis gone totally senile, I would not risk my body on that team. I personally would sit it out while maintaining fitness.

last report i heard. the two sides are far apart and have not held talks in 2-3 weeks. report was, money was close enough but the little details are not close. raiders are in no hurry because they signed culpepper.

I'll give the guy this... he can at least claim for awhile that he's more productive than JaMarcus Russell
