![]() I had a similar situation before but in South Carolina and I don't live there, but it was WAY over the speed limit and mandatory court appearance. I was leaving the country a few days later for 2 months.
I was advised to contact the S. Carolina bar association for a referral. Which I did, got a very good referral of a lawyer that frequently handled these types of cases. Fine was reduced, points not added and it all worked out well, and I was able to go overseas, cost me a good bit, but then again mandatory court so it was worth it. I would suggest contacting the Texas Bar Assoc. for a referral. Good luck. |
