I like the plans Chuck has for our girl Sumwon, especially the break before starting next year's campaign

As Spyder said, to Steve and Chuck: we've all said thank you many times, but it continues to be well-deserved and most heartfelt.

It's fun reviewing her pedigree, following other Came Home babies, speculating on Sumwon's past experiences.

It's educational to see how Chuck and Cherie have worked with Sumwon to bring her full potential towards fruition.

It's been neat to see Sumwon's personality blossoming, to be able to stop by and visit her and give Sum her much-loved peppermints and a pat on the nose.

It's exciting to see the entire board handicapping her races, arguing over how well she'll do, and why.

And of course, becoming friends with folks I didn't know a year ago, all of us sharing Sumwon with each other - the best!

Now the question is ... will Chuck notice anything "interesting and affordable" at the Fasig-Tipton sale today?!

Default Sumwon's start and origins

I printed off Sumwon's lifetime activity log from YouBet (who stinks right now, they have not had the Saratoga feed either yesterday or today)

I don't know what training center "TTC" is - anyone? From earliest to most recent:

workout 7-25-06 TTC 3f D FT 36.60B 2nd/9
workout 8-05-06 ELP 3f D FT 37.00Bg 1st/9
No official activity 45+ days or more
workout 10-7-06 TTC 4f D FT 50.80B 18th/34
workout 10-14-06 TTC 3f D FT 37.00B 1st/14
workout 10-25-06 TTC 5f D FT 1:03.00 3rd/5

first race at CD 11-01-06 MCL 30,000 6f dirt, finish 7, 5-6w, empty in lane

THANKS for the continued research ! Reading charts was very pleased to see a Came Home filly gamely set a new track record at MNR in the Senate Cup at 1.70 on the turf, final time 1.38.14

Beautiful Venue - Came Home/Avenue Shopper-Avenue of the Flags, a Miller homebred, birth date 4/4/04, gee that date looks familiar huh

watched the replays of all Sumwon's races have on dvr last nite - am getting PSYCHED ! good luck and safe trip to our girl..
