I liked Dan's program to a point...but you are right...he would often be pompous...he would whine if you didn't agree with his point which he did frequently with his call in guests(not fans) and disagree with athletes, etc. who have first hand knowledge of the situations at hand.
I think he was much better on Sports Center covering the highlights than trying to be one on the radio.
...and don't forget his segment with keith olherbermann(puke)
