I remember growing up in the 80's, and ESPN was awesome. Different story, now. Same as MTV, but far worse there. I remember when it was actually Music Television, not reality show after reality show...

I'll tell ya what is just as bad.That is this f'n Jenny Craig letting us know middle- aged women(that use to be hot) are now cow types.I am sure they are well paid,but I really don't need to know that Valerie Bertinelli got that big.Hopefully,this is just a SOCAL thing,and the rest of the country doesn't have to watch all that.

Just reduce the carbs ya eat(especially don't mix carbs with fat.) This means cutting back on bread n' butter in those Restaurants in the Big Easy.Men fail on low quantity diets(J Craig....W Watchers.)They gain any lossed weight back(because they can't keep eating that small an amount of good food.)

I agree. I was confused by the "NOW" concept. I was like HUH???? And they have Mike Wilbon and Herbstriet and Key analyzing this. It is pretty stupid. I could care less about Sports Center these days. I cannot stand Stephen A Smith, Stuart Scott, Dick Vitale etc etc. The only show that is any good is PrimeTime. I loved it when Harold Reynolds was on Baseball Tonight, Charlie Steiner was in the studio etc etc.

Oh the things I hate the most is the "Ultimate Highlight."

ESPN=garbage. and what the heck did they do to espn classic, now that is a real shame. if i have to watch these fricken poker tournys and bull riding i swear i'll go ballistic. its baseball season , not one damn thing . i know they have it , i watched the **** in the late 90's. I had heard the H. Reynolds thing had to do with hugging women ect...allegedly. ESPN only promotes the sports they own TV rights to. They use to cover NHL Hockey when they showed the games, now the Stanley Cup Final clinching game was not even the lead story. They promote Arena Football because they have the rights, are you f***ing kidding me. They actually have Mike & Mike broadcast the game to double up on promotion. There is no limit to thier self-serving billsh*t. Just show the sports for people who like sports don't make it a tabloid show. The people who want the fluff pieces aren't watching every night. I just with wish they would show highlights and not think they were the sports.

Pd - I think he was accussed of sexual harrassing the women that worked for ESPN. There might be some validity to that since he didn't sue ESPN for illegal termination (from what I know).

Another thing I hate is when they do that ESPN Deportes break. That really irks me. Isn't that why they have "The Oucho?"
