I heard he won well. I have been out all day, so i missed the race.

The ground was very soft though, and i don't think we should pay too much attention to the winning distance at the moment.

One thing is for sure, it hasn't made our Derby look any better. Probably has made it look worse. With Eagle Mountain being well beaten. The ground shouldn't have been an issue for him because he has won on heavy before.

So that is the 2nd and 4th in the English Derby beaten with no excuses. Soldier Of Fortune did run in our Derby, but it has turned the form on it's head.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see this Derby to be one of the worst of all time.
