Good to know.

When exactly did I say I was particularly interested in Graded stakes? Not that it's relevant but I rarely bet Graded stakes.

The day to day racing at Belmont was pretty good at the start of the meet but has been decidedly subpar since Memorial Day and specifically bad the last three racing days.

what are the reasons for not betting graded stakes, if U don't mind me asking? More $$ in the pools should equal more overlays, esp. when horses like perfict drift run and eliminate the takeout.

The races tend to be more formful and overall probably present me with less of the kind of betting opportunities I am looking for.

This is exactly how I feel, you look through the form and you know who is gonna be close at the wire. Rarely can you find a nugget in a Grade 1, but that 25k claimer on a Wed....you might find a nugget that others miss.

Musical Melody is extremely live in the last race for an outfit that rarely takes much money.

R6) Rob's Boy Matt: this horse is gonna make or break me, b/c im leaving him off my ticket today. Previous win came against same conditions but he was pretty much a gate to wire winner. A pretty good amount of speed in this race, and i don't see him getting an uncontested lead even if he does make it to the front end. His last 3 races leave something to be desired, and though he's making a pretty good drop down to a competitive level i still can't put him on the win ticket

going to use the "Johnny Obvious" selections: 9-4/ possible 2 if speed is holding today

gl all
