Yeah it is a great town, and I haven't been back for almost 20 years now. Would love to go back & visit ( maybe when I am in Saratoga this summer I will try to make a side trip ). Don't remember much about the South Side, remember eating in a Diner there from time to time and a grocery store we frequented. Spent a lot of time at Red's , Paradise, Dark Horse and yes the OST. Brooks BBQ was the best & I wonder if it is still there.

Not sure about bars, but Brooks BBQ is certainly alive and well. Stop there everytime I go to Binghamton. Reminds me, I am about out of their BBQ Sauce...

It's still there! My step daughter just graduated from Hartwick, so I've been up there time to time the last four years. There are less bars over that time and one she loved was Hanks, it will always be known as the college town on the hill.

I remember in my Senoir Year they raised the drinking age from 18 to 21, so that is probably why the Bar scene died out a bit.

Brooks is still there, now run by John, Griff's son.
the Neptune Diner is still going on the Southside, and Woody's Market is also doing well. For a good meal, I like Christophers.
