It's $100K so I imagine there will be other shippers as well, probably most of the same horses he has been running against. As long as Accountforthegold doesn't go he should be alright.

Funny Cide is perfectly healthy and earns money in virtually every start. Earned $3.5 million so far I believe.
It's great they still race him.
People are constantly complaining that horses are retiring after their 3 year old season----Hard Spun and Street Sense are next-----so why do people complain that a perfectly healthy horse who is earning money is still racing?Horse racing needs more horses like Funny Cide----

Agreed...I also love the fact that he still gets bet everytime he runs. That's better for those of us that realize he can't win.

I'll stick to the Jamband and 90's Alternative Rock channel. If I want all Dead, I think I would just throw on a live show from the collection.

Anyone still have tapes of live shows, or has everyone upgraded to cd's?

Thanks guy , glad to see he still can approach triple digits. He still seems to workout very nicely in the mornings. I believe it was July 1st last year when he ran his big race at Woodbine, guess he'll probably peak again for this one .

He actually went over 100 twice in 2006 in a 1 mile allowance at Gulfstream when 2nd to Sir Greeley and the Excelsior when 2nd to West Virginia and I think he was high 90s in the ny bred race 2 back. (98 as posted earlier I see.)

Oh yeah I remember now. I know for certain the Excelsior was a 103. I guess I'm obsessed with this horse.

I'm not foolish enough to bet on him though and I can't bring myself to bet against him, so I just like to observe his races without any money on it.
