i just saw your post in time to flip over and watch the ninth, so I don't have any opinion on the 1.

I'm still new to handicapping and have a lot to learn, but what was he doing on that 1? He had him in a good spot on the rail and coming around the turn for home he dropped the horse back, then re-rallied on the outside. ?????

At the Mountain its pretty normal to want to rally wide, instead of up the rail.
