getting back to the original question about getting 2-1 on never running again: you'd have to give me 2-1. the owners realise how much this horse is worth in the shed vs on the track. they have been hedging ever since the horse crossed the finish line 2nd in the preakness. to steal from another post: “Knowing the offers that are coming in on this horse, which I don’t know the details of, but I know it’s getting economically impossible to run,” he said. |

![]() Horses come back from bows, but horses of Street Sense's caliber usually are retired before they would ever have the chance to see the track again. One of the claiming crown stalwarts from a few years ago, the name completely escapes me, came back from a bow.
