Brockguy...

Actually Aussie Rules might not be all that far-fetched.....

From Sky Sports..... a bit about Royal Alchemist, for anyone who's interested.....

Connections of Royal Alchemist are hoping for a bold show in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown on Saturday.

The four-year-old has only once tackled Group One company, when fifth in last year's Coronation Stakes, but the extra two furlongs she faces now is expected to suit her.

"We've always had it in our minds that we would take our chance in this Group One," said trainer Mark Usher.

"She's very tough, she's very game. There's a chance of some rain and we would hope for some. All things being equal we'll probably let her take her chance. She's in good form at the moment.

The filly was third to Soviet Song in the Group Two Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot on her latest start, and Usher added: "She ran very well at Ascot. I don't know how many Aidan (O'Brien) is going to run in the race, but it could cut up a little bit.

"I think the uphill finish at Sandown will suit her. At Ascot with a furlong and a half to go they just quickened up the pace away from her.

"That was over a mile. This is a stiffish 10 furlongs and she gets it well.

"That will help her and obviously Group One placed would be a massive help to her. If that could be achieved it would be well worth doing and she seems in good heart.

"In all probability it may be her last season, but you never know."
