As for last nights performances, I did think that Melinda stunk. Well, maybe stunk isn't quite the right word... She just didnt' shine. She didn't stand out. But she is overrated enough that I'm sure she'll stick around.
Frank Zappa was the front for Mothers of Invention and later had a successful career on his own. He was a fantastic guitar player and wrote classical music but is best known for his slightly "different" songs...amazing talent and funny as hell!

Sounds vaguely familiar... But it doesn't sound like my kinda of music... Sounds sort of like a Pink Floyd or something?

The one thing i admired about Blake this week over Jordin and Melinda is that for his final song he took a chance.Jordin and Melinda both were singing songs that they had already sung. All 3 of them are wonderful and it's too bad that somebody has to lose. With that said i think Chris and Catherine McPhee have gotten more noteriety than Taylor Hicks.Sometimes finishing first doesen't make for the greatest future.Just look at Alydar he was a much better sire than Affirmed.
