![]() I have to admit that I was wrong. I went back and watched the race again, and you guys were right-- Sedgefield ran a surprisingly strong race. He was game all the way up to the stretch, and he didn't fall apart after sticking with the pace the whole way. The question for him now is can he recover off that performance in two weeks and still be a factor at Pimlico?

![]() room for improvement imo. certainly less crowded, he handled it rather well, more so than many of his supposed betters.

![]() I'd skip the Preakness and run Sedgefield in the Belmont. I kinda wonder if Sedgefield benefitted from the rail.
Teuflesberg needs a break from Grade 1 monster route races but hey we all need someone to toss. I look forward to Chelokee. Hopefully he won't disappoint like the other Gulfstream horses. Did CP West ever win tha allowance race ![]()

![]() I think King of the Roxy is a threat.
BTW We need Preakness tickets. I posted somewhere on this forum, God knows where. I'm not used to negotiating this site. Anyway, I'll be in MD & want at least 2 tickets. |
