So I am looking for some bad trips because SS if ok will be the favorite in the Preakness. And I have a feeling SS will be made to run a different race. I dont think we are going to see a bunch of horses turn tail and skip because they were overwhelmed.

Also think that SS was much racing luck. Great run, fantastic ride, but I think Curlin with the same ride would have run on as well. Curlin had a terrible run, watching the replays. In the stretch, Robby had him ducking in trying to find a hole, then dropping outside, then inside...by the time he got free and started to run, Ima was in full acceleration, but if you watch Curlin, he totally hit the gas at the same time, and had tons left. Little bit disappointed that he didn't have a better run. Not convinced that SS will be the better horse at Pimlico and Belmont, but won't it be fun to watch!

It did appear that IMA... was going to blow by him didn't it? Nice to see the horse full of run 10 strides from the wire. Way to go.

Absolutely. Why they would bypass jocks like Bejarano and JuLep and go with Robby at CD is another question. He butchered that ride on Curlin.

Hats off to Borel. One of the best Derby rides I've seen. Great job.
