Well, the Sabres were definitely the better team (thanks to J Hecht, today, those were 2 amazing goals), but the reason it's still cool to be a Ranger fan is because of what happened after the game ended. What other fans would chant for their team for 5 minutes, after getting knocked out of the playoffs? Let's Go Rangers!

They're probably the best team in the league! The only reason they won the series is because they were so much deeper, top to bottom. The Rangers had them on the ropes in game 2, obviously should have had them beaten in game 5, fought their asses off in game 6, when Jochen Hecht "freaked", to borrow a horse racing term. Miller is also one helluva goalie. I haven't watched much hockey in a while, and hadn't bothered to watch the Sabres, but Drury and Briere are outstanding, and Brian Campbell is exceptional! Tallinder and Ludman, who are these guys, and when did they get so good?
They had best win the Cup this year.
