Isn't Trakus supposed to make times more accurate?

I DVR'ed all of TVG's coverage from noon to 6PM that day----when TVG showed the race live, they had fractions posted in times of 22.67, and 44.29, with a final time of 50.12

Now, the following day, I also DVR'ed the KEE replay show, they showed the race without the Trackus chicklets, and fractions were posted in 21.45, 43.05, and the final time was posted in 48.87

Mike Battaglia than says it's a world record, and that two different sources have confirmed the time of 48.87 is accurate.
