![]() I figured about 5-10X that, even with a nothing pedigree.
Shows how much I know about auctions!

![]() So what is the deal with the trainer here? Is he the type that throws out win early types that run huge and then disappear or do his horses just run huge for him and then fizzle out if they go to someone else? If it is the former then couldn't that be a good purchase if you kept the horse with the same trainer? She'd have to be one of the favorites for the G3 on May 3rd which would make her valuable as a broodmare.

![]() The only horse I can remember in the last several years to run in one of the 4.5F races at KEE then actually turn out to be something as an elder was Limehouse.
1 in about 1000 is not a very good track record. Good luck to them...

![]() According to bloodhorse, the horse didn't meet her reserve and was bought back (will still be trained by Ward). See quote below.
Van Meter indicated the filly would remain with trainer with Wesley Ward, who co-owns the filly with Robert Tanklage. "She's going to get some time off and I think we will see her again at Del Mar," he said |

![]() $300K can actually be spent much worse in this game.
I believe Angel Island and Appealing Zophie were jointly the two fastest fillies to win going 4.5 at KEE last year.... One of them would become a Grade 1 winner, the other hasn't raced since. That filly will really have her hands full with the freaky Sea of Pleasure on Derby week---if the new owners intend to run there. |

![]() Did anyone else bother to read the charts from the card from Keeneland that day?
Some very, very fast times out of some very, very ordinary horses and fields. |
