Didn't Showing Up get beat like 10 lengths? Is this a positive comparison?

Glass half empty vs glass half full. He was beaten 10 lengths but he was in the race at the top of the stretch and finished ahead of 14 horses.

I think if the race is run reasonably up front, it's one of these:

Curlin
Street Sense
Nobiz Like Shobiz
Scat Daddy
Hard Spun
Any Given Saturday

If there's a really quick pace, throw in:

Circular Quay
Tiago

And if not, is it one of the other 12?

I think I will be relying on Johnny V to see which Pletchers to include. I am curious to know where he is going. CQ worked today 113 3/5 with Rags and to me, that is a good sign. It might be hard for me to let 12/1 on CQ go on Derby Day.

I think that Street Sense will move forward off that polytrack race. Seems to be set for best.

Hooves;

BTW always says that...

But I don't listen to him...

So he kicks my azz...

Carla has the photos to prove it.

But my raccoons have a swatch of the seat of his pants to prove what happens when one kicks my azz.

I don't know who's dumber......btw or me.
