![]() There was this "rodent" running around Scotia N.Y. a few weeks back called a Fisher , it a cross between a otter and a weasel. The thing was running around the village, attacked a dog and woman putting out her garbage. Animal control officers and police tracked down the animal and destroyed it. It came back rabied and I guess the woman had to endure those painful rabies shots.

![]() The 61-year-old woman says the fisher attacked her when she went to take her garbage out to her garage.
She says the animal latched onto her foot and wouldn't let go until she had struck it repeatedly with a fire extinguisher. The two-foot-long fisher then ran into her house through the door she left open, and the woman had to chase it out. They don't usually attack humans but are known for eating porcupines. For the love of God... What kind of rodent eats porcupines? Im sorry for this lady but I found the article quite humorous. She struck the rodent repeatedly with a fire extinguisher? Thats the weapon of choice given when attacked by 2 foot rodent. How about stomping it with the other foot? Damn I wish there was some video of this. Again I apologize if this is anyone's Grandma, but I might have had a hard time helping anyone beating a large rodent with a fire extinguisher while it was latched on to their foot. Are you really helping someone if you save them from a large weasel attack while almost passing out from laughter... |
