I listen to Imus everyday and he and his staff pick on everybody.I'm jewish and i laugh at the fun they make of jews.His producer Bernard does a routine as the cardinal where he announces the winning lotto numbers amongst other things and used to where a Fed-Ex letter package as a hat.I've yet to hear any Christian organization up in arms about it.Lets face it Al Shapton thrives on other peoples misery.That's the only time you hear from him.It's no different in the Sean Bell case.When all the evidence is produced it will be proven that those policemen acted wiuthin the guidelines.I'm still waiting for Sharpton to apologize about the Tawana Brawley case where a young girl made up a story that she was raped and had fecies put on her.It happened in Wappinger Falls NY.It ruined one guys life.Sharpton and his buddy Alton Maddox never apologized for what they did.The irony is that my sister in-laws parents were principals in schools in Brooklyn and Sharpton went there and was a troublemaker then already.Hey Al you happen to remember Yankel Rosenbaum who was killed in Brooklyn by Lemerick Nelson.

This is interesting because Sharpton getting all mad at Imus made me think Imus might not be such a bad guy. I remember when that girl made up the story about being raped by the clan. I think, with a show like his, you need to know the context,and you wont get it unless you watch (or listen)to that particular show.I would say each day that the people working for him call him ugly,or dried up etc.,and they (especially Imus) laugh about it.He is dead serious about some things,but this is not one of them.He is paid to entertain,and he starts getting nervous when the show isn't being funny,and he will start something crazy like this talking about players' looks.

But ya gotta think about who you are insulting. Most of the Girls actually go to school and really are student athletes. Its almost like picking on High School kids. The Mens basketball... you can rap them to death. I dont think Imus would have got in trouble questioning how Noah got so ugly given her mother is Miss Sweden. The Ho stuff was a bit much. Only rappers are allowed that stuff.

Although the ugly Presidents daughters on Sat. Night live was always funny. God did they slay Amy Carter. That girl was just beat up. Billy Carter was fair game... (RIP) big fella.

You bring up Tawana Brawley, but what about Amadou Diallo? She is the Guinean immigrant young woman who was shot to death by the NYPD 8-10 years ago. Her family was awarded $5 Million by a court which decided her death was wrongful and was due to police racial-profiling and brutality.

Sharpton is what he is. But I think what he does is important whether or not I might like him. Frankly, during the '04 Democratic debates, he was the only candidate to give straight answers to many questions.

What's great about America is we get to decide how badly he suffers in the end. Whether it's Mel Gibson or that Seinfeld guy dissing Jews or Blacks or Imus, in the end it all shakes out on its own.
