Spoken so well. And as much as I'd like to know exotics, I should probably stick with flat win betting and an exacta here or there. I gave up trifectas long ago, for the most part. May bet one, but rarely.
There are MANY days that I do not win, and I do get discouraged at times, any horseplayer does; and one that says it never bothers them is lying, that is not possible, the human psyche will not allow it. After a while, not cashing will get to even the best. No matter how good they are at covering it.

You have to stick to your guns and stay with what has worked for you. Of course, there is a point where you have to validate Whether it is still working and that is the rub.
