Oh, I forgot about the year Request for Parole won it. Balto Star must have been 2003. I thought it was this weekend because I always associate it with July 4th weekend.
Maybe Better Talk Now and request for Parole run in it this year? Did Balto Star ever retire? I know he made a return to the race or at least was training to. Any idea?
