Irish slow down buddy, I'm a big ND fan, but you are bordering on lunacy here. ND has not been solid in football or basketball in 10 years. This years ND basketball team was a joke. Winthrop please, SIU played one of the top 5 teams in the country on a neutral court and came up just short. Why are you talking about ND having heart when SIU won 2 more games then they did in the dance.

your not an ND fan if you think this years ND bball team was a joke. They overachieved big time, they were picked to finish like 14th in the Big East, and finished 4th. They got a sh1tty draw and drew Winthrop, who was better than an 11 seed really. It was a tough loss, butno shame in it.

Please who cares what experts think will finish where. I thought there were a midpack big east team. They showed zero heart last year with all the sub 5 point losses. This team didn't overachieve that much, who exactly did they beat really. I dont see any top 10 teams in there.

ND didn't get to play Holy Cross and Va Tech, put SIU in the spot where ND was and they would have got clown stomped by the athletic winthrop team. They had an easy draw, is that difficult to see. Again, Holy Cross and Va Tech.

ND has this years soon to be National Champions on the run, and played toe to toe and went shot for shot with them all game to fall short by 2 points. That was some serious heart right there by ND.

G'Town is this years Champions.

C'mon Scavs, Notre Dame must have quite a bit of heart. I have some records to back me up on this one. I didn't take the time to look them up but I believe these are very close. Iraq 0-2 Japan 0-1 Great Britain 0-1 Germany 0-1 Notre Dame 310-7. Who in the history of the world has defeated the Army, Navy, and Air Force more than Notre Dame?

i couldn't have even told you they played each other in basketball. golden dome junior college hasn't had a decent team since digger phelps was there.

ND fans have not been settling, and we will not settle and be happy until we win the National Championship. That doesn't mean we won't support our team, but anything less than the championship is a little dissapointing. Higher expecations as always for our beloved Notre Dame.

Scavs, your team played some of the best basketball I've seen in a while. They their pace on a very good kansas team. They were playing a team that was more athletic, stronger, deeper, quicker, and taller, yet they never quit. I'll take a team like that any day.

Thanks Skippy, it is a great feeling to be proud of a team that you follow, it really is. Winning is great, trust me, I would have rather won this friggin game, but this team showed so much to the public, the media, and to the fans that it almost didn't matter who won the game. I fully expect to be in the top 15 next year, and hopefully some of these bigger schools will give us a shot, Lowery will play anyone anywhere, that I know for a fact
