duke and duke fans are FINALLY experiencing what Tar Heel fans have gone through for decades. coach k can NOT keep the guys from turning pro early! duke used to be famous for guys staying in school. NO longer!
when guys leave early there are no mentors or experience for the young guys to look to. the young guys have to step in and fill holes before they are ready, couple that with graduation and you saw what happens.

some of the old guys on here can back this up. Tar Heel fans have lived this for YEARS! Dean Smith had teams torn apart every couple years. thats why he only won 2 NC's. it was actually amazing that Dean Smith kept that program in the top 5-10 for 27 years. 27? straight 20 win seasons,he had a couple 20 win seasons when the tourny was only 16 teams and didn't get in because they didn't win the acc tourny.
